Weinberg Speaks on Writing, in Manhattan

On Tuesday, June 13, author Gerald M. Weinberg gave a talk on writing at KGB Bar, a literary hot spot in Manhattan's East Village.

Weinberg presented his Fieldstone Method of writing, from his newest release, Weinberg on Writing. He discussed myths about writing that he has faced in his fifty-year career. After the session, he regaled a group of techies and writers with tales from his work on NASA's Project Mercury, as manager of operating systems development for IBM.

Co-presented by Dorset House and The NYC Writers Circle, the event drew a crowd that included Tim Lister, Roland Racko, Nicholas Zvegintzov, and other software luminaries. We thank all of those who attended, particularly Callia Piperides of the NYC Writers Circle, who snapped the photo shown here.
