S. RUSSELL HERRON was one of five founders of GeoQuest
Systems, now a subsidiary of Raytheon Corp. He has worked
as Research Supervisor at Exxon Production Research
Co., where he managed computing support and software
development for geological applications. He was also
involved in researching the application of artificial
intelligence and hypermedia to the geoscience field.
He is currently President of Imagination Software, based
in Houston.
He lives in Houston with his wife, Sherry, and family,
including a part-terrier (the only family member without
a personal computer). A long-time advocate of integrating
computers in education, he dreams of someday becoming
an expert fly fisherman.
