WILLIAM J. PARDEE is a consultant, trainer, and speaker
on ways to improve the product development process and
to create high-quality products that customers want.
During his eighteen-year career in research and development
at Rockwell International, he helped develop methods
to provide higher quality to customers, from the science
of inspection through process control to study and definition
of customer requirements, and was named Engineer of
the Year, in 1987.
He founded Pardee Quality Methods
in 1992 to consult and teach full-time. The author holds
a doctorate in physics from the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign.
