their automation plans. This work involves everything from sensors to production
and process data. Don has been working as an independent consultant since 1984.
He enjoys solving problems and working with people, and currently he's working
on a better understanding of how people interact in solving complex technical
problems. Don brings a unique perspective on life to his writing—having produced
such articles as "How to Kill a Company"—and to his teaching, having
taught general computing (both software and hardware) and application-specific
classes.
